There were 47,648 students enrolled in Jefferson Parish School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.3% less than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.6% of them were boys, and 48.4% were girls.
