Cost of college went up for all students at Herzing University-Kenner

Tuition and fees rose 1.1 percent for 2018-19 at Herzing University-Kenner, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $14,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $150 more than the $13,850 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 7 students received grants or scholarships totaling $48,157 and 6 students took out student loans totaling more than $30,637.

Including all undergraduates (454), 380 students used grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million, and 366 students took out $3.5 million in federal student loans.
