Senator Bernie Sanders plans to participate in a town hall event with domestic care workers across the nation. The meeting, organized by the National Domestic Workers Alliance, will address concerns over proposed reductions to Medicaid by the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress. Sanders emphasized the impact these cuts would have on home care services for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

The event, titled "Care Can’t Wait Town Hall," is scheduled for Friday, April 11, at 10:00 a.m. ET. Although the physical location will be provided upon RSVP, the town hall will be accessible to a broader audience through a livestream on Sanders’ social media platforms. Media personnel interested in covering the event are directed to RSVP at press@sanders.senate.gov.
