Jefferson Parish announces Dog Training Pro Explains The Basics Of Obedience At East Bank Regional Library

JEFFERSON, LA – Brooke DeFore, a dog trainer who specializes in behavior modification, will discuss various issues regarding the training of canine companions at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 4 at the East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon Ave., Metairie.
This presentation is free of charge and open to the public.

DeFore will discuss various aspects of dog obedience basics such as potty training, crate training, how some breeds are trickier than others, as well as the importance of patience on the part of the human. She’ll also discuss the following.

•    Is it worth paying for a dog trainer?

•    What is the best age to get a dog trainer?

•    Is it ever too late to get a dog trainer?

•    Is it good to send a dog to a trainer?

DeFore will bring one of her four-legged students for demonstration purposes. Patrons should not bring their pets to this event.
