Bassil's Ace Hardware to host grand opening celebration

On Friday, July 8 through Sunday, July 10, the Metairie, Louisiana, community will welcome a new Ace Hardware store.

Bassil's Ace Hardware is located at 4419 Transcontinental Drive in Metairie. The new store is owned by Ginny and Matthew Skaer.

“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” said Ace officials, according to a press release. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”

J.D. Power has ranked Ace Hardware "Highest in Customer Satisfaction" 15 of the past 16 years.

"The store has been designed to reflect the needs of the Metairie community, including solutions to everyday home maintenance needs, as well as an extensive array of high-quality products in categories such as paint, lawn and garden," according to the press release. "The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes. Key product offerings include... hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home decor."

Ace Hardware has 5,600 locally owned and operated stores throughout the world, as well as 14 company distribution centers in the U.S. Ace Hardware stores can be found in all 50 states and 60 countries worldwide.
