The Tulane Green Wave will start their 2026 beach volleyball season this weekend by hosting the Green Wave Invitational at White Sands Volleyball Courts in New Orleans. The event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, will feature seven teams: Tulane, No. 12 LSU, Oregon, Spring Hill, Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, New Orleans, and South Florida.
Tulane’s first match is set against LSU on Friday at 8:30 a.m., followed by a game against Texas A&M – Corpus Christi at 1:30 p.m. On Saturday, the team will play three matches—Oregon at 8:30 a.m., South Florida at 1:30 p.m., and New Orleans at 4:00 p.m.
The team enters the tournament with momentum after being ranked No. 18 in the TruVolley rankings and No. 20 in the AVCA preseason coaches poll. Players Skylar Ensign, Katie Hansen, and Molly Trodd were named to the Preseason All-Conference USA Team.
After this weekend’s invitational, Tulane will participate in the Tiger Beach Challenge next weekend in Baton Rouge.
