In the wake of power outages affecting several buildings in Kenner, Louisiana, Entergy is actively working on restoring power. However, some city facilities continue to be without electricity. Consequently, the Mayor’s Court has been canceled for today and the City of Kenner Office of Inspections and Code Enforcement remains closed until further notice.

The city's communication infrastructure has also been impacted by the outage, with all phone lines and email services currently down. Despite these disruptions, some scheduled events will proceed as planned. The American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall Opening Ceremony, which was set for 9:30 a.m., will go ahead as scheduled. However, the Music in the Park event slated for today has been canceled.

The city authorities have issued a cautionary advisory for motorists and pedestrians due to offline traffic signals across the city. Road-clearing crews are still at work and citizens are advised to exercise caution while navigating through the city.

For updates regarding today's operations or events, residents can refer to the press release issued by the City of Kenner on their official website.
