Please mark your calendars for January 15, 2024, as we are proud to announce the return of a beautiful Kenner tradition celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. & the reform he so courageously fought for the redefined civil rights equality for our country.
The celebration, hosted by District 1 Councilwoman Dee Dunn, begins at 11AM with a march at Providence Baptist Church located at 11509 Jefferson Hwy., and ends at the A.P. Clay Center located at 200 Decatur St., where a program honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King will follow. We hope to see you all there!
