Event Description:
Volunteer with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at our Student Visionaries of the Year Grand Finale!
The Grand Finale will celebrate the success of our Student Visionaries: 15 teams of high school students who have gained valuable leadership skills while participating in a fundraising competition to raise money for blood cancer research, patient support, and advocacy. The event will be a gala with a silent auction at the Higgins Hotel in downtown New Orleans.
The following shifts are available:
Set Up : Noon – 3pm : Casual attire, ability to lift up to ~15lbs to help unload truck, set up auction tables and table decorations
Greeters: 5:15pm – 7pm: Cocktail Attire, high energy, social personalities, ability to stand for duration of shift
Guest Info : 5:15pm – 7pm, Professional or Cocktail Attire, patient & social personalities, seated during shift
Auction / Check Out : 7:30pm – 9:45pm, Business Casual attire, ability to lift up to auction items up to ~15lbs, high mobility, and / OR high energy, social personalities to thank guests
Break Down: 8:45pm – 10:15pm : Casual attire, ability to lift up to ~15lbs to help reload truck, break down auction tables and table decorations
