The Jefferson Parish Planning Department, with the assistance of planning and zoning consulting firm Camiros, will be hosting two public meetings to solicit input on the draft industrial zoning regulations, which will update the Parish’s regulation related to industrial zoning districts.

The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 15 in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the Joseph S. Yenni Building (1221 Elmwood Park Blvd., Jefferson, LA 70123) from 5-6:30 p.m. This meeting will be streamed live on JPTV (Channel 6 on Cox and Channel 99 on AT&T Uverse), the Jefferson Parish Facebook page, www.facebook.com/JeffersonParishGov and the Jefferson Parish website, www.jeffparish.tv/live.

The second meeting will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 16 in the Council Chambers on the 2nd floor of the General Government Building (200 Derbigny St., Gretna, LA 70053) from 5-6:30 p.m.

The goal of the Jefferson Parish Industrial Zoning Districts Study is to evaluate the current industrial district structure and associated regulations to create a set of new, modern districts and standards that work with existing industrial development patterns.
