It's time to Paint the Parish Pink
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every October, the color "Pink" brings together thousands of people, all with the same goal – to wear pink, raise money and help make life-saving breast cancer research happen.
Parish President Kirk Lepine is asking Plaquemines Parish Entities, Residents, and Business Owners, that you wear your “Paint Plaquemines Parish Pink” shirt on Wednesday, October 26th and help us support breast cancer awareness.

Shirts can be shipped directly to you or picked up at the Plaquemines Parish Government Complex. The last day to purchase these shirts is September 30, 2022.
When we conducted this fundraiser in 2019, we sold over 270 shirts and raised nearly $3,000.
Shirt proceeds will again benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation New Orleans.
