Coffee  & Community is a Young Professionals event, which connects Young  Professionals to community leaders and provides informational sessions  about issues that impact their region.

Our Jefferson Chamber Young Professionals will hear from Nathalie  Simon, Special Counsel to the CEO & President - Public Policy  Initiatives with Laitram,  John Landrum, Vice President for Innovation with Intralox,  and Andrew  Koehler, Commercial Operations Supervisor, with Intralox. They will  speak about corporate culture and social responsibility. Laitram  is a global manufacturing leader across multiple industries, with over  4,000 employees, over 1300 actively held patents, and 11 locations  worldwide. John Landrum, Vice President for Product Innovation and Marketing, Intralox LLC

John  currently serves on the boards of Bureau of Governmental Research and  the Idea Village. John previously served as co-founder and President of  Young Leadership Council, Board Chair of Lighthouse Louisiana, Board  Treasurer of New Orleans Museum of Art, and Board Chair of KIPP New  Orleans Schools.  John is creator and host of Triple Win Workplace podcast series.  John is married to Martha McDermott Landrum and is the father of two adult children, Sarah and George.

Nathalie Simon, Special Counsel to the CEO & Presidentt - Public Policy Initiatives, Laitram

Nathalie works  on local, regional, state, and federal policy issues that enable  Louisiana to be a better place to live and prosper. She works closely  with numerous external and stakeholders and holds several leadership  positions guiding city and state-wide reform. This led, among other  initiatives, to the creation of Smart on Crime Louisiana, which Nathalie  has helped spearhead since 2013. This work was critical to the passage  of the historic JRI reforms of 2017 and her work associated with Smart  on Crime continues today. Nathalie routinely sits on numerous panels on  regional and state policy issues and is a fixture at the Louisiana  Pelican Institute’s Annual Solutions Summit. Nathalie is also engaged in  the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility work and lead’s the  Global Community Engagement Team. A self-proclaimed “recovering big-firm  lawyer”, Nathalie is a good government and civil liberties champion.  Nathalie is a former board member and officer of BGR and current board  member and officer of the Public Affairs Research Council. She is  engaged on various other boards, including the BCM Foundation and Ogden  Museum of Southern Art.Coffee  & Community is a Young Professionals event, which connects Young  Professionals to community leaders and provides informational sessions  about issues that impact their region.

Andrew Koehler, Commercial Operations Supervisor, Intralox LLC.

A native of  New Orleans, Andrew works as a Commercial Operations Supervisor at  Intralox, a global business-to-business manufacturing company  headquartered in Harahan, LA. As a company that promotes self-management  and a curious mindset, Intralox has challenged Andrew for the last 10  years into continuously improving and expanding his areas of focus; both  professionally and civically.

 

Andrew  currently serves on Young Leadership Council’s board of directors and  strives to fulfill its mission of growing the city’s leadership through  community-based projects. Since 2016, Andrew has held a range of  leadership roles at YLC including Project Leader, Vice President of  Membership, and currently President of Board of Directors. In  addition to YLC, Andrew serves on GNO Inc.’s NextGen Council and is  involved with his high school’s alumni-relations efforts. A  graduate of Brother Martin, LSU, and LSU’s MBA program, Andrew lives in  New Orleans with his wife, Alexandra, a family nurse practitioner, and  sons, James and Thomas.
