We were proud to host “Prepare and Respond: a Meta Disaster Resilience Summit” today at our Emergency Operations Center.
This training was in partnership with the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce for local government entities and emergency responders to learn how to best leverage social media to improve their digital communication skills in the face of a crisis.
Thanks to the experts from Meta in the field of crisis response for spending time with us in Jefferson Parish and for recognizing the work of our Emergency Management team and Public Information Office.
