New Orleans Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 11.
CHALMETTE, L.A.—The St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce with St. Bernard Parish Government
& Tri-Parish Works are pleased to announce the annual Spotlight St. Bernard: Business Expo &
Job Fair on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 from 4 PM- 6:30 PM at Val Riess Gym in Chalmette, LA.
“We are excited at the response we have received from employers who want to participate in
our business expo and job fair. This opportunity connects our community’s talented workers
with great employers looking to hire. This event provides a great opportunity to connect face-to-
face with employers, network, get industry exposure and it is also a wonderful event to help
increase your business exposure.” said Mindy Nunez Airhart, the Chairwoman for Spotlight St.
Bernard.
This years event will offer local businesses & job seekers the opportunity to see what St.
Bernard has to offer to both companies & employees. Representatives from a wide range of
industries, including shipping, food service, refineries & more will be present. Attendees will be
able to network with employers, establish professional relationships and discuss career
opportunities. It’s strongly recommended attendees bring their resume and business cards.
There will also be a raffle for a 65” flat screen TV. The business expo and job fair is open to the
entire community.
