Kenner Mayor Michael Glaser has announced two upcoming town hall meetings for residents to give feedback on the future of curbside recycling and drop site services in the city. The current contract for these services is set to expire in February 2026, prompting city officials to seek public input before making decisions about the next phase.

At the meetings, city representatives will present information on current costs, future projections, and several options for providing recycling and drop site services moving forward. Residents will be able to share their opinions and help guide the city’s decision-making process.

“These town halls are about listening to our residents. Recycling and drop site services come at a cost, and it’s important that we hear from the people of Kenner before moving forward with any decisions,” said Mayor Glaser.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meetings and participate in discussions about how these essential services should be managed in the future.
