On Wednesday, March 12, former Belle Chasse High School standout Gracee Hess’ current college team, the Lamar Lady Cardinals, won 8-6 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Baylor Lady Bears.
The game took place at Lamar Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lady Bears this season.
The Lady Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Lamar Softball Complex against Houston Cougars.
The 4th Annual “Santa in the Sand” event is set to take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Coconut Beach in Kenner.
The Chateau Country Club, in partnership with Mayor Michael Glaser, Police Chief Keith Conley, Visit Kenner, and Friends of Rivertown, will host the annual Sipping with Santa Cocktail Party Fundraiser to support the Kenner Food Bank.
Kenner will host the Ole Man River Half Marathon on October 17, 2025.
