Jefferson Parish To Host Public Works Job Fair Events

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish  Personnel Department will be hosting two informational job fair events  for all people interested in learning about job opportunities with the  Jefferson Parish Public Works Departments. The first job fair event will  be on Tuesday, October 18, 2022,  at the Department of Public Works – Streets Maintenance Building (200  Shrewsbury Rd., Jefferson, LA 70121) from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The  second job fair event will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the Department of Public Works Building (1901 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072) from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

These job fair events are intended to provide an opportunity to speak  with Drainage, Engineering, Parkways, Sewerage, Streets and Water  representatives, to obtain information about the current jobs, and  answer questions about the application process. Computers will be  available during the event for accepting online applications.
